sure this is beautiful, one word, I am glad to see Leonard Cohen live at 12 july in amsterdam, after 20 years playing his records I an going to see him alive. Volgens mij ben je nederlands, ik vond je opmerking mooi , een woord daar is alles met gezegd. regards Marijke

ik had die clip(uit chelsea Hotel) al in geen jaren meer gezien...Ik ben opgegroeid met zijn muziek...alsook Melanie, Cat Stevens en meer van dat...maar Cohen staat hoog, heel hoog ...bij het zien van deze clip krijg ik na al die jaren nog telkens tranen in de ogen..prachtig gewoon.. oh ja, ik ben een zuiderbuur :-)) groetjes, en geniet ten volle van Cohen daar in Amasterdam!!!

I think the original Chelsea Hotel was the same lyrics, he just changed a couple of lines here and there (like the line "you just turned your back on the crowd" which I think was originally written as " You just threw it all to the ground")

the chelsea hotel is an inspiring place to stay - choose the higher price rooms if you're not interested to make due.

what are the rates?

$99/night during the week to share a bathroom. there are artist studios in there, so it's like sharing a bathroom in someone's house. on the weekends i think it starts at $200, even to share a bathroom, which is steep for nyc when you can share a bathroom for no more than $130 in a nice neighborhood.

hey, thanks a lot for the quick response. after i saw ur original post, i searched for "chelsea hotel nyc" but nothing came up for the hotel itself. anyway, you say share a bathroom. you do get a personal room, right? how are the rooms? and with this room, you share the bathroom, i take it is ur meaning.
