Correction - the AUFW is 36oz.
I got the weights confused between this one the Guillow's Catalina, sorry.
There is a full build of the project on rcgroups dot com
can't post hyperlinks here sadly,
Search for Guillow's B-17 Conversion
Hi '67
Specs are;
AUFW = 32 oz
Motors = GWS EM350 (Brushed 6 volt motors)
Props = GWS 4530
Prop Adaptors = GWS collett type
ESC = Shulze 40 amp
Accu = 3700 mA/hr 7.4 volt Lipoly
Can be built much lighter, This was my prototype and contains many reduntant structures.
It has tons of power, cruises on 1/2 throttle.
Is very easy to fly due to it's size.
Good luck happy landings!
I am building the B 17. What is the weight of the model and what are the electric specs?
Thanks
nice flying; a hell of a lot of work to build the Guillow's B17; a bit of a risk to fly!! I also built one but for display! nice vid!!!
