This is going to be my first operation of using a Sony Handycam camcorder including all of the functions. The sad thing that I will not be using my Aiptek IS-DV camcorder, because it sucks so much! I will go with the new camcorder, because it's much, much better.

I agree fully agree. The aiptek cameras all suck. My 8 year old Sony Handycam is 10x better than the new aiptek A-HD 720P I just got. Even the quality of stills I can get off my old camera are so much more crisp and clean than what I can get from the so called 8mega pixels the Aiptek camera claims.
