The Super-Efficient: FRANCIS DAIMLER TABAG ENGINE (PART 2)
Description :
The Francis Daimler Tabag Engine System is the newest internal combustion engine technology. It can save more than 50% fuel consumption diesel or gasoline fed, environmental friendly, eliminates large amount of side thrust between the cylinder wall and piston. Applications: cars, trucks, motorcycles, air-compressors, water pumps, generators, outboard marine engines, small engines, diesel power plant. etc..

One problem I feel you may encounter is vibration and harmonics. Ya the rotor cycles nicely, but what happens when you add a piston to only one side of it. I feel you may find more efficiency with pistons and rods on adjacent corners of the rotor, making it almost like the "boxer" style engines found in the Subaru, VW, and Porsche. Another proble is friction, and I see alot here, much like the Wankel rotary's drawback.....heat=less efficient=back to drawing board. Good ideas tho, keep it up!!
Thanks a lot !! The recent design development have a lot of improvement. Included in the improvement is the reduction of sliding parts making it lesser friction compare to a wankel and conventional piston-reciprocating engine. I cannot show these improvements for confidential reason.
looks like the engine will be causing alot of vibration, will that change when you put it inside a cylinder with a piston?
One objective of this video is to prove that the vibration of this invention is not large.I made the weight of the shown reciprocating part less than 3/4 kilogram and run by the shown 3000 RPM (approx) small gear.Notice that the vibration is less(I will prove it more soon by my latest model running at approximately 10,000 RPM). But,I am sure that this concept vibrates lesser than a conventional engine since it oscillate's and reciprocate's lesser.
fail.
your advised to study mass particle interaction.
weight reduction this,that.. NO.
OR study hutchinson to advance your weight reduction technique. (radio x EM ) can lead to weight = zero
go go go
If we make a new engine using this new concept, engine size may reduce from 35-50 % w/o sacrificing the power output.
Inertia loads are proportional to the bore.. because they are proportional to the weight of reciprocating parts.F=12W VV(1+r/l)/Agr F=force of acceleration,W=weight of reciprocating parts.

The lesser the weight of reciprocating parts the lesser the inertia.
NOTE:I studied the effcy of this project for more than 11 yrs & I found no fault.
yes, its delayed by a certain percent by physics.. (not %36)
and that oscillation is so whacked up i laugh at it. as an engineer i'd boot you out of my office if you brought that to me.
inertia is whats eats your efficiency.
&dont ever question my engine expertise again.
Using this concept, employ a piston minimized by 1/3 weight,con-rod weight minimized by 1/2, a big reduction of crankshaft(journal) weight,etc.. & comparing a normal engine & the concept w/ same power output rating the concept will be of lesser piston stroke ( this lessens the oval gear's material). Streamlining & using light weight materials will lessen more it's weight. The concept's inertia can be lesser compare to a normal engine...
that doesnt look efficient at all.
A pointless comment. Can you explain on how the piston of a normal engine is delayed by 36 percent( from TDC to BDC)? If you can answer this, i might believe that you are an engine expert.
