sorry to hear that but my dad's old 230E from the early 90s just kept going and going. It was a great machine. Maybe some of the newer models are lacking though, based on your CLK experiences.

i went to miami. really nice apart from when we accidently drove into the rough part where people were hangin round on closed corner shops with guns. i suggest miami for a holiday any day

Google the words "Mercedes" and "corrosion" before you say German cars are best. My wifes 2002 clk has rust in rear wheel arches and around boot lock. Not enough room here to list out other problems or how bad Merc garages are to deal with.

dont drive your mercedes into a salt lake..and you wont have those problems
