Valerie Vili of New Zealand edged defending champion Nadezhda Ostapchuk of Belarus by 6 centimeters to win the shot put title in Osaka, Japan. The victory makes Vili only the second athlete, after 400-meter hurdler Jana Pittman of Australia, to win IAAF titles at youth, junior, and now senior level. (WCSN, WCSN.com)

Drove past where she lives today, yee rotarua
She made me appreciate what an awesome country NZ is more then anything. We're less then the population of London and look what we can do! Love the twins for their gold too but I used to do Athletics so I appreciate Vili more, she's an inspiration and a brilliant modest rolemodel to everyone out there!
