Samsung F480

To me the phone which has a replaceable battery wins hands down. Samsung F480 has such a feature and Apple has to learn its lesson a hard way to give consumers what they need and is obvious, not what Cupertino arbitrarily dictates. This new phone will give Apple run for their money. The true iPhone killer has arrived! I have seen it today and its gorgeous! As an iPhone user I am happy, because I need replaceable battery, cut and paste (!!!), MMS and also a better camera. Apple do you listen?

I am thinking of gettingn that phone and the answers re; MichaelSwe77 have reall;y helped... is the black thing part of the model ?

Just some things I was thinking about. It will be either this one or the LG Secret. You have had any issues with the software? Some say it works a bit poorly sometimes. How is the sound quality? Can you have a really loud ringtone? Work in noisy places sometimes. MP3-tones work OK? The screen gets scrathed easily? IS the music player any good? And is the camera as good as people say? I want my phone to last about 24 months, so it should be high quality.

The software has worked flawlessly for me so far. I have no complaints about it. The call quality is not perfect. However it is very acceptable. Not bad at all. You can adjust the volume of the ringtones. On the loudest setting it is very loud, trust me lol. You could not miss it. MP3s sound great too. All in all it has a good quality music player.

As for the screen, I have found it to be very accurate and responsive. Plus it seems to be durable enough. Well i've not managed to scratch it so far. If your worried about it. In the box you get a nice leather flip cover for it. This protects the screen very well when its in your pocket. The camera is excellent! Both picture and video quality is very good. Plus you get a lot of advanced shooting options to choose from as well.

The battery life is only about average to be honest (which is not that bad). But I guess that is to be expected with a big screen. I would say the build quality is well above average though. It should easily last more than 24 months. I hope this helps.

Thanks! :) Been reading some user reviews I accidentaly came across on a British website. Seems many are giving it a really bad score :( Seems there are a lot of phones with bad software. Will receive a Nokia E71 here, and I think I will keep my old Nokia as a reserve. Was gonna have it as a camera, but will get a real camera instead.

Will get myself a Canon Ixus 80 IS 8MP instead of a camera phone. No super camera, but it is OK for amatuers, and take pretty good photos. The E71 has received some pretty good reviews! Have seen it, and it looks like a quality product. Not a Nokia-fan, but I think this is a winner :0)
