That is exactly the point.Religion should be questioned constantly and boldly.Especially the ones with such a large following.Fellini never tried to reassure the Catholics in their own self importance.Seems like that's what you would rather hear instead.Over and over again.How Insightful.

Yuck. Well, someone once said that people only mock what is true and magnificent, and it seems that this clip does just that. If a similar thing were written only with the subject of ridicule changed, to Jewish, Muslim, or any other religion, there'd be hell to pay... Not saying that any of those religions should be picked on at all... But yeesh... if this is intelligent, an acorn is a coconut...

I'm getting tired of all this nagging as soon as someone deprives a religion of its glamor. Just because it's a religion doesn't make it immune to criticism and ridicule... far from it, since religion is one of the foremost power sources in our society, it can and SHOULD be criticized by the arts. In fact, ALL major believes system, be it political or religious, should be "picked on". It's the basis of free thinking and the bane of dogmatism.
