This is no different than what we are doing NOW. We make a lot of jokes about Germans, Jews, Mexicans, Muslims almost all the time on T.V. Honestly, I don't think this is as nearly as bad as what we do NOW.

I find this funny. Why? Because they are stereotypes and nothing more.

How can we learn from past misdeeds if we sweep them under the rug? How do we automatically know something is wrong? The people who made this sure didn't. Sometimes people need a shock to realize how stupid and awful racism can be. I'm not saying to trumpet these things out like some hate-monger, but they should be there for folks who need that shock to realize how much we've grown since then. We think our society is so horrible, one look at this will put hope for the future right back into ya!

This is a glimpse back in time to a different society with different values. We tend to look back on these times with rosy nostalgia because a lot of the more reprehensible aspects of those times are sanitized from modern looks back. They were no different from today in the respect that there were many great ideals, sound morals, and enlightened thoughts. But just like any other age including today there were despicable, shameful, and downright sick attitudes and morals as well.
