The plural of anecdote is anecdotes, not data. An "interpersonal relationship" is only evidence to the person who experienced it as no one else can also experience that same event. If a person was to claim they experienced an interpersonal relationship with an alien from alpha centuri or the Aztec god Huitzilopochtli we view them as crazy. What makes these different from someone claiming the same for the christian god?

You have obviously never talked to many skeptics. Personally I hope we find evidence of life outside of earth & I believe that there probably is intelligent life elsewhere in the universe. However I equally believe that it they have never visited earth or even know of our existence. I also believe that if they exist they would have no knowledge of the christian god. It will be interesting to see how christians twist the bible to fit the existence of aliens.

Note that I never claimed any of those things to be true, I just said it would be good if they were true. I also do not base my life philosophy these things because they currenlty cannot be verified. A christian however bases their lives around a set of beliefs with zero evidence to support them other than their "interpersonal relationship" which as stated previously could be the product of a disturbed mind.

What you are doing is an ad hominen attack, because you are unable to argue the logic of an argument you attack the opponent with irrelevant attacks on their person. So what if I am a "religious bigot", that is irrelevant given that Victormania2008 has not provided evidence for their statements.

All of which resolves exactly zilch as we still have no idea what proof Victormania2008 has for the existence of god. This also raises the morality of VM2008 because as a good christian he is expected to convert heathens like me. By withholding his evidence he acting against gods will by preventing people like myself being converted. Of course all this presumes he actually has some evidence other than the bible or a banana.
