I believe Marku Allen was one of the best drivers in the Strato's hey day of the early seventies.
He then went on to greater success with the Lancia Delta Integralle.
I can remember seeing him on the South Wales stages of the then Lombard RAC Rally in 1985 in the last years of the superfast Group B rally cars.
He was driving alongside other greats like Uha kankunen in the Lancia's |
my favorite car ever |
the best looking rally car ever!! |
they made 492 |
thats true but until im 16 and have a lot of money its all i got for drivin cars like that lol. |
The one i played was GT4 for PS2, with the Logitech driving force pro, the last time i played was probably 8 months ago, i've played the PSP game but never drove the Stratos in it, i can't imagine it being such a huge difference though.
Also, i always played with all of the driving aids turned off and the steering controls set to professional.
Don't get me wrong either, the Gran Turismo series is amazing but not completely realistic. |
which GT was it? cause in the psp version if you turn off all assists that the real car didnt have it actually drives kinda like your talkin about. |
I've played the one in Gran Turismo, and it's ridiculously easy to drive compared to an original one, i can push the game car to no end and it'll never spin out. In real life you won't be given a chance to make corrections it'll just snap back instantly and throw you off the road, it's the sort of car that truly would have benefited from traction control. |
