of course the male lions mane would help it in a fight, it gives its neck more protection so it would b harder for the tiger to pierce and inflict damage to the lions neck

this show is based on real facts of both animals, they take lots of time to research the animals. this fight could never happen in real life because both of these animals have different habitats. thats what this show is about. they take animals that would never actualy run into eachother, and put them in a face off. i've seen this show before another episode was with a crocodile or aligator vs a great white shark

A male lion would win. The mane makes it so much harder for the tiger to hurt a male lion. But the tiger has no defense around it's neck and could get its throat sliced by a claw which just wont happen to a male lion.
