C-17 Globemaster III

The C-17 has some pretty awesome capabilities. Its like a combination of the C-130 which can land at very short runways and can carry heavy cargo like the C-5. It can back up which no other planes can do, and its controlled using fly-by-wire so it can make sharp turns. Many people can get the C-17 and the C-5 mixed because they look similar butt he C-17 is shorter and a bit wider than the C-5.

2nd largest? I think not. The An225 is the largest then the A380, the C-5 then the spruce goose. I am afraid its not even close.

Cool how it shows the stol wing thrust vectoring, awesomest feature, can land anywhere.

The C-17 can not do thrust vectoring...

It has extended flaps that vector the thrust downwards when in stol configuration. So it's not true thrust vectoring, but it is in a way.
