Koani, a hundred-pound ambassador gray wolf joins Bruce Weide and Pat Tucker, who dedicate themselves to raise her and, by doing so, boldly venture into terra incognito. The fourth member of the team is Indy, Koani’s constant dog companion who plays a key role in transforming Koani from an intimidated, skittish creature into a confident ambassador for her species. Prior to the reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone or the border land between Central Montana/Idaho, advocating wolf recovery could get you shot. Koani and Wild Sentry ventured on to the frontlines of this controversial issue and survived to tell the tale.
