Only when you view World affairs in terms of Human history - Ancient Greece, Rome, Barbarian Europe etc. can you truely appreciate the Third Reich. Brutality was certainly present, it had to be! How else could they have dealt with the Communists and other enemies? They gave Europe a destiny almost 'out of time' if you see what I mean, it was a real return to Imperial Glory (the British Empire must be bourne in mind; we had an Empire that covered the World but the Germans, oh no, certainly not!).

Look how they cheer him when he leaves the plane - thats REAL love for thier leader! One of the best bits of the film IMO.
