car engine ford Ti-VCT 3d

At the end it says "Ford Werke AG" in Cologne. I believe it was this same branch of FMC that originally designed the 3.0L V-6 in my '02 Ranger (a simple but tough architecture) and im pretty sure the engine will last 15 years or more.

The engine in my Contour makes total sense to me now. I changed the timing belt and I knew that the big round thing on the end of the cam did something with my timing by way of oil pressure but I didnt know how. Cool

All Escort ZX2 models have this VCT system on the Exhaust cam only. This is just for emissions however and not for increased power.

Ford is much better

according to what/whom? this is smtg new and i wonder the repair bill if it broke down. it's known that vtec's almost never break down.

This is very similar to a honda motor, like a vtec from what I know about hondas.
