Sexy 1955 Packard Caribbean Convertible

It is such silent like a Rolls ! It was the most elegant Convertible you could have in the 50s. A car for people with old money. The new rich people had a Cadillac. I have this "missing feeling" with this wonderful noble trade mark like in Europe with Facel Vega or Borgward. The other big trade marks never filled really these special neeches of understatement noblesse which these elegant Packards, Facel Vegas etc.... had. It´s a pitty that these companies disappeared.... Wunderbares Auto !!

i am lucky enough to have driven packards new in the 50s they were incredible. the most amazing ride ever, in an automobile. thanks you for the great ride. im finishing up resto on a 54 convert. nice, but not a 55 or 56

That is a beautiful car! I got to drive a friends 55' Patrician, and was impressed.....even tho Packard left us, they sure went out with a bang! (not including the 57-58 ''Packards'')

Just wondering, what would this car bring at auction today? I'm sure it is very valuable. It is a handsome auto to say the least.

!955-56 Packard Caribbean convertible trade for 80k-125k.buy the best one you can find; restorations are very expensive.A good compromise is the 1956 hardtop.total production,(500,276,the hardtop 263.) Caution, it is easy to make a 400 hardtop into a Caribbean, so be careful!!!!
