NATO assigned the aircraft the name "Frogfoot". Russian pilots nicknamed it "Grach" ("Rook"). The pilot sits low in the cockpit, protected by an armoured bathtub assembly which makes for a cramped cockpit. Visibility is also limited, a trade-off for improved pilot protection. Американцы на А-10 ставку не делают. У них всё участвует и вертолёты в том числе . И там куда посылают А-10 у них всё нормально. В отличии от нашего Су-25 который просто летает и ни чего не может.

Если сравнивать su-25 и a-10, то a-10 - это как вооруженный jeep hammer, а su-25 - это как вооруженный tank T-72, класс применений один, но эффективность и живучесть не сопоставимо разная...

я обслуживал эту машину а конкретно его вооружение знаком с ней не по наслышке и знаю что а 10 ему не ровня, он не выдержит даже попадание из пулемёта, су 25 гарантировано выдерживает 21 мм снаряд, и попадание зрк малой дальности

Most rockets have maximum ranges between 4-6,000 meters, the CRV-7 takes this out to 8,000, depending on warhead and slant-R, guns simply cannot compete. The number of S-8 pods shown is only about 1/4 of the effective engagements a DAGR or APKWS guided shot can give. Which in turn means more drag and shorter loiter. The FSU tactical model is a pre-netcentric one that continues to look with optics on an NTISR jet instead of thru-Wx radar on a good UAV. Limits corporate battlespace awareness.

Not really....the SU-25 can go supersonic when it drops all the bombs and rockets. It's also more manuevarable. But the A-10 has other features, such as better protected engines and heavier overall armour

A-10 has 4 redundant flight control systems, 3 hydraulic and one mechanical...checkmate

Su 25, does have a cannon and a good one at that. Its just not as flashy as the vulcan sticking out of the A-10. If there is anything that the Su-25 surrenders to the A-10 is the lack of a HUD.

bull shit did you mention the su-25 has metal pushbars instead of hydraulic systems plus better speed and manouverability plusss plus stronger armour and the ability to run on any fuel availiable

A-10 has a massive gun that the frogfoot doesn't pack. It's also capable of carrying more sophisticated payload than the frogfoot although they both have 11 hardpoints. While the su-25 may be a little faster, the a-10 has better avionics. So overall the a-10 has a better performance...

What's better this or a A-10?
