I wish the Speed Channel would air some of these 60s/70s year races on tv. Those were the good ole days of Nascar when they didn;t have all the restrictions like they have today.. whoever had the fastest car won. funny guys,i'm not a nascar fan,loved it way back when,but i'm a quarter mile fan,i know iknow,left turn straight,way back when guys had a smoke and remains of what thay ran in the backwoods,today thay are in shape,have to be,athletes? maybe not like bill romanowski,but still have to be fit,to run ovals for hours,MBDKS,try it some time,racing is not as easy as it looks

you obviously know very little about the physical demands of auto racing. Nowadays the true professional racing driver spends a lot of time in the gym. Physical fitness is extremely important if the driver is to keep two tons of steel pointing in the right direction for 8 or 10 hours at a time.
