affectionatepunch: Yes, people can demonstrate in the West. And the result of nearly 6 years of protesting over the Iraq invasion? NOTHING. Completely useless. Western troops are still occupying Iraq and Afghanistan.

Its also a fact that many americans who demonstrate againstthe war approve it at the beginning. Its only when they see they losing so much money that they react and NOT because tens of thousands of iraqis are being killed

To be serious - the "peace" nobel committee will never nominate a US president in office because this will tie the hands of the US president in any plan to invade another country.
