This preternatural reflex of Obama to utterly fail to understand the magnitude of the progress made is just cowardly and dangerous.
2:10- He *interrupted* General Petraeus? *Nobody* interrupts a soldier at that level of rank! Even the President should have to wait for an opening or politely indicate he wishes to make a reply.
Testing- are you an actual opponent of Obama/Biden, or are you just another Democrat pretending to be something else? Let's hear from some *actual* supporters and opponents of Obama and McCain, already.
Yeah, i'm the "better" democrat, i've made two tours in Iraq and nobody can sell me the "victory", such as a granny 4 a virgin. There's only loss and no victory for the US.
First time I have seen this, wow is he a bumbling idiot (scary)! Petraeus is saying to himself what the hell is this dip shit doing here.
Exactly my thoughts...I wish that Petraeus was running for POTUS. Check out his wikipedia page, he's impressive.
Petraeus married a generals daughter... and that's the main reason why he got so far.
He may be a good man for the job, but Petraeus is a career soldier, completely dedicated to the US Army. He has stated he has no political ambitions. I'd like to note my frustration over people seemingly expecting men like Petraeus to run for office. Being a soldier is quite different from being a politician, and many generals prefer to simply retire and live out their remaining days in peace, maybe write a book or two. That's what I'll do if my Army career gets as far as his has.
My father, step-mother, and step-sister and brother are all hard-line democrats, 100% behind Obama/Biden, but I'm starting to feel my own interests sway in the other direction. GM, my favorite car company, is backing McCain, and the magnificent General Norman Schwartzkopf has endorsed McCain officially. Then there's things like this...
My interests and sympathies seem to fall more in line with McCain, also. I'm not yet decided, but still...
Hey hawkman2k7, I was being sarcastic. I'm pro-Obama %100. I was exaggerating the fact that most McCain supporters seem to believe all the rumors made up about Obama on the internet.
Peace brother.
Obama / Biden '08!
