My Dad served in the CBI. He and his brothers didn't wait for th draft, they went right down and signed up. Their Mom was mad, but I think she was proud of her boys. The GI bill made life better for those farm boys, gave them a boost up in life. They served with honor and bravery.
There are so many of us that appteciate the reminders of the greatness and horror of WWII. The B29 was the plane that literally stopped the war and especially the part CBI played in launching this craft into service. (CHINA-BURMA-INDIA Theater of War)
