just checked ancestry24 co za and see that her great grandfather (fathers side) was born in South Africa in 1878. Well whatever .. it's not really important.

her great great great parents are from france and germany, respectively... her father didn't speak a word of french, and neither does her mother know any german... while their roots might be european, they're very much south african and spoke afrikaans at home
