Cool video, I like animations :D but well... let's say this wasn't the very veeeery best xD haha but it was still awesome :D great work with this, I luv it. It has a cool song, and I like Shego's face xD looks evil >:D
The fanfic story that this was based on was called "Tears". The song is "Mezame" from Mai-HiME.
(BTW, I searched high and low for a translation of the song and never found one. It's possible that the lyric has no meaning at all.)
Most of it was done with iClone 1.53, and then when I upgraded to iClone 2.0, I used that to add some of the more difficult special effects (the rain, for example).
Drakken and Shego were supposed to be creepy, and Ron's eyes were red from crying at the beginning and end. Some of the cut scenes were enough to give you nightmares--eyes coming out of people's heads, etc. Josh Mankey's hair originally twinkled like a fiber-optic Christmas tree. XD
Yeah, iClone and Sims have a lot in common. In fact, it's easier to design clothing and accessories with the Sims game. Trouble is, with the Sims you can't get the characters to do exactly what you want at a precise time (although granted, some of the movements in this took a LOT of work--but it was still possible). If you view this video again you can see a lot of things the characters do that would be impossible to do in Sims 2.
Yes, both Shego and Drakken look much creepier than usual. Intentionally so.
