I think with Churchill's liberal family background, i.e., his Mother and father's behaviour, he was more apt to overlook the moral aspect of the problem. Still his greatest blunder since the Dardanelles.
He's very convincing as Churchill. Had he played him in a movie, he'd probably have been nominated for an Oscar.
