Even though it is smaller I think it is much better than the Russian AN 225. I think the C-17 is a very well balanced aircraft.
McGuire AFB! That's my home base, I've lived 15mins away from it all my life! Can't wait until the Thunderbirds fly there this year. Also I was at this show in 2005 as well :D
