lol, thats funny because i believe that as a democratic nation we would absolutly support israel if they were under any sort of threat, wether that be from palestine or iran. Israel is what other middle east countries should be trying to emulate.

lol, I was waiting for this response. Jewish leaders had some authority to manage local affairs at that time however they couldn't kill anyone. The priests, elders, and scribes consulted in the High Priest's Caiaphas palace to take Jesus by subtilty and kill him (Matthew 26:3-4) They took him to Caiphas's palace and sought to put him to death (Matthew 26:59) They gave false witness and pronounced Jesus guilty of blasphemy and sentence him to death(Matthew 26:60-65)
