Nah it doesnt. The 9 was the first to get the mivec. got 286 hp (213kW) standard.

@ Ham3t I have to agree with R32GTRacing. I did read an article on the GT-R comparing with an Elise, 911, the new STi, the Evo X, and a few cars. The GT-R won in every aspect. But I have to say that if you can't afford the new GT-R with a whopping 70-80 grand pricetag, The Evo X is your best bet for the bang for the buck. I got into the Mitsubishi Evolution group since one of my friends just bought a Evo X and I fell in love with it once he went all out. So I'm here looking for a Evo 8 MR.

Nice. Thats a good car. ive been in a friend's modified evo 8 that ran 11s 1/4s. damn it was quick! had so much pull. but personally, i like the evo 9 more, mainly because it looks better, and its got MIVEC + turbo = :D

the 'new' r34 gtr vspec? your comparing a brand new evo x with a 5 year old skyline. hardly what id call fair. get it right. the evo x gets eaten by the new Nissan GT-R.

I have. I've read nearly every article published about the new GT-R. and one even compared it to the evo x. The evo x lost overall, but they said it was on par with the GT-R on tight mountatin pass roads, but as soon as any straights came along the power of the GT-R blew it away. and they also recommended the evo x if you couldnt afford the GT-R. which is a fair comment. but you dont see evo x lapping nurburgring quicker than ferraris, lambos or porsches do you? you get what you pay for.

i Have to say Evo gone Way to Soft with the new Evo but WHo gives a fuck right Tuned it and Boom sexii Fast car Even faster than New GTR!i Have a 9 MR By the way lolz but Evo x plus a little Tuning Job will get a Evo 9 MR plus more tuning a Supercar I HAVE A eVO X TOOO rS VERSION NOT SO HEAVY AS THE OTHERS ANBD PERFECT FOR TUNING MY eVO NOW PULLS 340HP And 400lb.Of Torque Getting new Engine block lol check back Evo x Is a good Car!
