Actually Airwolf did exist but the things the helicopter was able to do was fictional.

but how did they all those effects?i mean, for me it looks really real as this air wolf fires his 30mm machine gun.

they used actual RC models for some scenes & rigged up a kinda pipe bomb for the rocket & the chain guns fired petrol wich ran through a spark plug, back in the 80's they was no real cgi or blue screen, so even the faked stuff is generaly real (just made on a smaller scale)

The Bell 222 has such an elegant design. Nice lines, rakish profile. Beautiful aircraft.

in 1984 it was fictional (its not now) also was the 1st tv series to show a CD Writer outside EMI : /

why isn´t this helicopter used by the army if he has all this technical things like in the movie?

because of the armor plateing, its still very costly to create armor in spesific shames, hence why the apachie is so slated & ugly : /
