USS Coral Sea in UNREP (Underway Replenishment or refueling)

I know a guy from Texas that was on the USS Coral Sea from 1975-1977. He said he worked in the warehouse that housed the aircraft parts.

Was he part of the crew or the ship's air wing?

Doesn't ring a bell. Not likely it would. I didn't work with the planes. Worked ship's boats and messdecks during that period. Later I was in the Chaplain's Office.

OK, so your dad was in there at the end of our direct involvement in Nam. I reported aboard on April 1, 1975, just in time to be involved in the evacuation of Saigon.
