I believe you mean "... these latte sipping retards who can't even speak English properly ...". Please follow the conventions of English grammar when making a criticism.

Have you ever directly been in the fashion industry to actually make these allegations? 'Cause what you're describing is the typical fashion model stereotype. Not all models are bulimic. Not all are anorexic.
Some modeling companies know about these stereotypes and are setting a minimum weight limit in hopes of reducing people's thoughts on being skinny.
And models aren't all at fault. Other influences like media, family, and direct people have an impact on thinking.

If there were no advances in fashion, everyone would be wearing the same thing. Fashion is a way to express a person's individuality. I think the need to express yourself, in any way, not just fashion, is a definite necessity.
People choose to do this. I respect your reason to think of fashion in this way but don't make fun of the people who are in it.

fashion is art, i say its needed to all those negative comments about fashion being not important.

most of those clothes look hiddious, and most of the women do to because they all look like death! a women who is 5'10 should weight about 145-150 pounds witch is 30+ pounds of ur average runway model. how can anyone enjoy watching this sickening display of wat they call "fashion". I already know im getting negative comments about this, but the truth hurts.
|
not all women weight is the same.
I am 5.4 and I am a very healthy 110 pounds.
I don't think that 6 inches more would give me 30 to 40 pounds more.
on the other hand, the video is about the work of this designer, not about the models, is like talking about the frame when you see a paint.
Marni is fashion in hight scale,is whati s called wearable art,and as all expressions of art are not suitable for everyone.
your comment is not "the" truth but your truth - respectable too- but subjective.

hahaha i agree. i think fashion isnt needed, all it does is cause people to try and be like them. But the sad thing is, that most of those women get paid to starve so they them selfs match wat the fashion industry says is a "normal" weight. when in reality their about 40-70 pounds under weight, not only that in the past 35 years the diseases anorexia and bulimia have dramaticly increased and now starting at ages as young and 8 because they see the skinny girls and think thats wat they have to be
