Alicia Keys is in the wrong genre... She is so far above R&B-Pop it's not even funny....

Great performance. But I wonder how many in the audience understood the song, or it's history...

This is so moving to watch. It's reminiscent of the Vietnam War protests that I have seen only on video, but here are people my age 'screaming' out in the form of great music that they want Mother Earth to thrive far into the future. "The Greatest Generation" f'ckd it up, and we blindly followed in their footsteps for a while.

That was my favorite performance from that day although they were all great. Wish there was a DVD Box Set of Live Earth '07.

I was 10 rows from the stage for this performance. It was truly epic. I still think this will go down as one of the Top 10 live performances. It just sounded insanely good and clean in person. Whoever the other musicians were, they were just as unreal. The video here does it some justice. Simply, it was stunning, even a year later I get goosebumps.

The band was Keith Urban's band-they are ALL awesome musicians in their own right-if you haven't seena Keith Urban show live-you MUST go!

Alicia wasnt screaming, she was just singing the dong in the same manner that the original was sung. she is an excellent performer, everybody knows that, look how many grammys she's won
