This is an overhead projector (remember math class?) and a TFT LCD panel. Simple to make, and best of all, cheap. Total cost for this project including all cabling, LCD, fan, Overhead and the laptop was under $200.

Ps2 i have not heard that in a long time.
It is time to upgrade buddy there is an Xbox 360 and a Ps3 out already.
well i cant exactly afford those new systems right now due to the cost of gas and everything, the games are 60 bucks a pop
wow, that is awesome!
hi is the backlight for the lcd panel on?
I am thinking about making one,i have the overhead projector
and an old ibook
iBook FTW
No... imagine the overhead acting as the backlight.
LCD panels are see through, this is just taking advantage of this.
You can use a laptop screen, but it's harder and bulkier.
can the screen size be adjusted? can a portable fan (like the big one u have) be used to cool the unit instead of a small pc fan?
