Salvador DALI Monumental Collection sold to Carlos Slim's Museo Soumaya, Mexico City
38 Dali bronzes placed within the Slim collection

A collection of 19 Monumental bronzes including, "Space Venus", "Dance of Time", "Space Elephant", "Cabinet Anthropomorphic", "Venus Giraffe", "Profil du Temps" and others were placed along with 19 collector-scale bronzes such as "Surrealist Piano", "Surrealist Warrior", "St. George & the Dragon", "Horse Saddled with Time" and others. This marks the largest single acquisition of Salvador Dali sculptures to date, 38 bronzes. The collection was placed as part of R&R Bond's efforts to create a bridge into the 21st century for the works of Dali, as we prepare for the 2009 release of the Salvador Dali biopic, "Dali & I: The Surreal Story", with international superstar Al Pacino in the title role.
Mr. Slim will be placing many of these works in the new Museo Soumaya whose design was recently completed by renowned Mexican Architect Fernando Romero and the Laboratory of Architecture who also completed Mr. Slim's Grupo Inbursa Headquarters and Casa Telmex in Mexico City.
