I believe they were heading to the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland to recover the tank. they had a load team inside the plane already waiting. As an Aerial Port, a team of 6 should have an Abrams tied down in 6 minutes flat, an AMOG TALCE Load team of 6 will have it tied down in under 4 minutes... with two Abrams, we were having a Coke 9 minutes after the first tank rolled on the aircraft.

Amazing how well the C-5 Performs for such a huge airplane.
