I love your photo selection. All significant moments. Just a comment, most of them are intensley sad moments. Not saying thats wrong just saying it's interesting.

Oh, it was at :10, it's not the actually fire, but a picture of a few of the women who jumped out of the building.

The media does have a tendency to kind of hober on unimportant issues (like following Spitzer's car through traffic). It was mainly symbolic though. It became part of the Cuban/American struggle.

Well, see I happen to know many Cubans born here and even those who fled Cuba. Nobody, not one of them thought that Elian's struggles were of any importance. You make a very good point, but the fact is there are far more important problems going on with Cuba and the US than the struggle of one kid. But I totally understand the symbolic part of the whole thing.
