i do have a very good grasp of politics and indeed history, but yeah you're absolutely right he was elected by his party.

That's the point, G Brown wasn't even elected by his own party. There was no contest. If he wasn't such a coward he would have allowed a leadership election, McDonell and co didn't have a chance, but it would have showed he cared a bit about democracy. I awoke this morning to see the news that he has lost another by-election, he's a disaster and unlike John Major isn't going to win a general election.

The problem we have now is that both parties, the conseratives and labour fully support the "third way" which is a combination of capitalism and socialism. Those that do alot of research know that the unelected Gordon brown, a self confessed globalist authoritarian, and third way advocate is in fact a traitor to the crown. why because he took an oath to protect the soveriegnty of the crown but has done everything in his power since taking office to betray that oath. He needs to be impeached.

please do NOT use the pre-modifier 'unelected' before Gordon Brown. Anyone who does clearly has no grasp of simple politics and/or history.He is indeed elected, by the Labour Party. We, as the public, do not vote in the Prime Minister, but the party. The Party picks their leader, and so on.Pretty much in the same way that John Major and Churchill weren't 'elected' but noone uses/used that against them did they?

AND you guys must remember there is nothing like "the third way". I think it was Milton Friedman who said that if an institution ("country", in this case)is not carefully planned as right-winged, it will very soon become left-winged. You cannot be half virgin. You cannot have free schools and hospitals together with low taxes (where will you get the money from?) You cannot allow the unions to influence a company's policy and at the same time claim it truly belongs to the owner. One or the other.

Frau Thatcher was right of course to maintain national identity to its own country. If so Europe only had one common language. What would the English and French say if they had to give up their national language??? No Herr Kohl only posted that idea of a common Bank and currency to help his big friends from Siemens and Krupp to make them Cash still easier than before.
