Description :	Most people immediately think B-17 when they hear someone mention a WWII heavy bomber. But actually it was the B-24 that to me was the real workhorse! It was produced in greater numbers than any other American combat aircraft of World War II and still holds the record as the most produced U.S. military aircraft. And it wasn't only used by the Americans but by many other allied air forces! It was faster than the B-17. Had a longer range while it would still carry a similar payload to that of the B-17. However it was a vulnerable plane and easily caught fire! I'm reliving a neat bit of history thanks to AlphaSim. I hope you'll enjoy this video of their Liberator. They covered the D G and J models.
