They are not soft and gelly-like like hydrogel lenses which contain water, but rigid like spectacle lenses. RGP stand for rigid gas permeable.

Whe u put the contacts on your eye when u roll your eye down does it just find the puble and sticks on it?

Most of the times it does. Sometimes you have to help by gently pushing with your finger or your eyelid.

Yes, because they are simpler. RGPs, you need them or you don't need them.

I wear soft contact lenses, but i have never tried coloured ones!
