I like this game terribly much (played it on the ps2). I know there's Ico and Shadow of the Colossus and that shit but Max Payne is my favorite, no doubt. Great atmospheres, wicked stuff, scary sometimes (old amusement park in decay in part 2!), original and some good 'mow 'n down' action, a long with a great story. Minimal, but great. The game is much more than just a 'hardboiled policeman goes nasty'-game. Recommended to everybody: don'think, buy it. Yes, even now it is a little older.

awesome video. and god, i love that game to death. too mind-blowing, too atmospheric, too beautiful, too interesting, too enjoyable, too damn undescribable to leave you indifferent towards it. unless you're a table or something. i just wish it was longer than it actually is.

This is a mind-blowing, phenomenal game, the only thing I don't like about it is that it's really short.

The best PC game of all times...!! Perhaps the new Max Payne is better. But today, this is still (!) the best game.
