Death of Margaret Thatcher Play

Video Title : Death of Margaret Thatcher Play
Description : Daily Mail referred to the play as: "A provocative new play about the death of Lady Thatcher has been condemned as a vile slur on her character. The Death of Margaret Thatcher gloats at the imagined demise of the former Conservative prime minister." Written by Tom Green Presented by The Courtyard Theatre http://www.thecourtyard.org.uk Directed by June Abbott 'A short, sharp shock of a play by the highly recommended finalist of The Kings Cross Award for New Writing 2007, giving a disturbing, ironic and often funny account of a specific time and four disparate people held hostage to the news.' With devastating, hugely enjoyable precision the writer Tom Green asks us "where will we be?....how will we react?....will we be the same?" 'It is a politically astute, hugely imaginative state of the nation play' Robin Soans, Playwright (Arab Israeli Cookbook)

We should be a people of togetherness. Why in the world would anyone create a production of the death of someone that is still alive....this is the utmost of disrespect to the years Mrs. Thatcher has served this great country--it is therefore also a disrespect to the people of this great country SHAME ON YOU! AND WE WILL DON'T SUPPORT THIS!

This is just sick! Regardless of what you think about her as a PM and her beliefs she is still a human being and it must have upset her and her family and friends greatly to see a scenario of her death being acted out like this. It's in very poor taste (especially when you consider her recant health) and highly insensitive to her and those that lover her

Thatchers death, the musical would go down a bomb boom boom !!

I will go to the theatre or watch a recording of that crap the day Arthur Scargill becomes Conservative.

this is disscussting and nast play. Margret thacher still has manny years ahead of her and proble will grow to a grand old age she was the best thing that happnd to briten they would do a play like this about churcuil death

Thatcher was awful but celebrating her death is too much

This play is insensitive, disgusting, abhorrent, loathsome, revolting, dreadful, awful, abominable, hateful, despicable and contemptible. The production values look pathetic and the acting very amateur indeed.

I don't read the daily mail, As for my spelling errors that is purely because i typed it in haste. I am entirely liberal, though she did what none thought was possible for Britain in the 1980's. Her only mistake in the end was believing in the idea that equality could work in a modern day society. She had majority support until the 'poll' tax was introduced, even then that would have worked if not for in fighting and ambitious colleagues. History always hates past leaders. look at Blair

Crikey- you sound like the Daily Mail reader mate, loving the spelling errors as you accuse them of being uneducated too, surely intended irony from one clearly soooo superior
