This was certainly a muscle plane and would'nt look dated even now

I was assigned to Little Rock AFB, as an Avionics Instrument Repairman, working on B-58's, in September of 1969. The aircraft was decommissioned in 1970, and I was sent to Grand Forks AFB, ND, to work on B-52H models. The Hustler was, to me, the coolest aircraft EVER!

Look for Russian M-50. Wery cool plane, but it's history was much worser :( Stupid soviet leaders :(

I'd argue the B-58 was the most beautiful high performance aircraft the USAF ever owned. The F-16 would be a close second.

The B-1B nose and tail look a lot like a B-58. Is this an example of two designers reaching the same conclusion in supersonic design, or did some of the math migrate over to the B-1AB?

this was the prototype for the future of supersonic jets with future design concepts applied to planes designed built in the future. 1st of it"s type.
