What's loafing? Canadian term?

loafing = lazing, or just being lazy. or if you're loafing infront of the Tv it could mean you're relazing infront of the TV it depends on context and tone of voice when said. i'm not sure if it's a canadian term or not. maybe it just isn't used very often elsewhere
