Sukhoi (pronounced [suk-oi])is a major Russian military fighter aircraft manufacturer. Founded by Pavel Sukhoi in 1939 as the Sukhoi Design Bureau (OKB-51, design office prefix Su), it is currently known as Sukhoi Corporation. It is comprised of the JSC Sukhoi Design Bureau located in Moscow, the Novosibirsk Aviation Production Association (NAPO), the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aviation Production Association (KnAAPO) and Irkutsk Aviation. Sukhoi is headquartered in Moscow. Finmeccanica is purchasing 25% of Sukhoi's civil division. The Russian government is planning to merge Sukhoi with Mikoyan, Ilyushin, Irkut, Tupolev, and Yakovlev as a new company named United Aircraft Building Corporation.Currently the Su-24, Su-25, Su-24M, Su-27, Su-30, and shipborne Su-33 aircraft are in service of the Russian Air Force and Navy. Sukhoi attack or fighter aircraft were supplied to India, China, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, Syria, Algeria, North Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, Afghanistan, Yemen, Egypt, Libya, Iran, Angola, Ethiopia, and Peru. Venezuela will sign contracts for the purchase of 30 Su-30 fighter jets in July 2006. A total of more than 2000 Sukhoi aircraft were supplied to foreign countries on export contracts. With its Su-26, Su-29 and Su-31 models Sukhoi is also one of the leading manufacturers of aerobatics aircraft. On August 4, 2006 the Bush administration imposed sanctions on Sukhoi for supplying Iran in violation of the United States Iran Nonproliferation Act of 2000. Sukhoi is now prohibited from doing business with the United States Federal Government. As Sukhoi did not trade with Iran, most observers in Russia believe the sanctions are in retaliation for a contract with Venezuela reached during Hugo Chávez's visit to Russia in July 2006.

the new advanced russian fighters will dominate the skys while the U.S. will be in second
Pavel Sukhoi was a great constructor!
watch he korian war and see how the russian pilos give it to american pilots.watch this or typ this in youtube "MiG15:How russian thrashed americans in the Korean wAR-1".
Russian planes are equal with USA planes
SU-37 = F-22
SU-34 = F-18
SU-30 = F-15
SU-27 = F-16C
MiG-29 = F-16A
MiG-25 = F-14C
MiG-23 = F-14A
MiG-21 = F-5A,B,C,D,E,F
SU-22 = F-4A,B,C,D
Russians lack AWACS and their number of planes and USA has superior training.
Russian Deck Officer is only Deck Officer
Unlike for example in US Navy.
You know a little of everything but you are specialized in being something.
I hope you get it.
The russians have an AWACS. It's called Ilyushin A-50 Mainstay (an AWACS version of the Ilyushin IL-76 Candid)
Thanks for the info..
but there was one article ive read saying that there are few AEW or AWACS in Russian Air Force.
5 stars.
wwII was won with russian planes ( and American and British planes as well)
nice
USAF F15s and F16s were beaten 95% of the time with Indian air force Mig21 bisons (upgraded) and Su 30 MKI during 2003,2004, and 2005 war games. USAF morale was so low, that some of the observers were like quote
"It is a shame that now USAF have to depend on F22s, since our war tested F15s and F16s didn't perform well against Indian air force's Mig21 Bisons. USAF was truly impressed by Mig 21 bisons. It showed how much USAF underestimated Indian air force, Russian weapons and Mig 21s !!
