GREAT

First of all, it wasn't even called the Ed Sullivan show until 1955. From 1948-1955 it was "the toast of the town."

Mr.Raymond had done the Walter Winchell impression on other PA movie cartoons.

That WAS Ed Sullivan's voice, introducing Casper. Apparently, in exchange for Paramount/Famous Studios "plugging" his "TOAST OF THE TOWN" TV show [as it was known in 1952; hence the title of this cartoon, "Ghost Of the Town"], Ed allowed his caricature and voice to be used. The caricature of "Walter Winchell" (at 3:02) was thrown in for satiric purposes- Sid Raymond impersonated "Winchell", who hadn't begun his own TV series as yet....

I doubt it

I still wonder who did Mr.Ed Sullivan's voice for this"Casper"movie cartoon? It couldn't have been the real Ed Sullivan? ..or was it really his voice?
