It is not just horsepower when you start getting into these luxury vehicles. It is of course the convertible top, the navigation system, sound system etc. Now, granted you could put this stuff on after the fact but when you start paying 40,000 it is more of having a status symbol

Hi folks,
I have seen, that the interior of the crossfire has the color white.

Still wondering where those 31% Chrysler parts are supposed to come from. So they're buiding a partial car in Germany then shipping it over here to finish building it?? And it doesn't really make any sense to be shipping American made parts to Germany. So I'm guessing that eventhough they're calling them Chrysler parts they're still ALL made in Germany....kind of a moot point anyways since this car is history now that Mercedes split from Chrysler.....
|
Yes made in Germany using 100% German parts.....don't really know where this douche gets his 50% garbage from....seems like your average dumbass salesperson.....LOL
|
Well actually they aren't using 100% Mercedes parts, i know for sure that in 2004 they were using 31% Chrysler parts and 61% Mercedes parts. And i'm sure that until this day they are still using about the same amout of German parts, since the car didn't change. The Crossfire shares much of its chassis and running gear with the Mercedes SLK. I'm thinking about buying the 2004 coupe, i love it. But you were right about the sales man Average dum ass!!!
