Mickey Mouse Cartoon — When The Cats Away (May 3, 1929)

The opry house was mickey mouse first cartoon of wearing gloves.

i love how some mice wear pants and some dont....i dont know why minnie has no gloves on, but this was mickey's first cartoon with gloves, so i think minnie was just a bit slow on the uptake.

Why did minnie did not wear any gloves?

Man, how could anyone have wanted to turn this little scamp into a sanitized suburbanite? At least these days they've brought back a *little* of his old spunk. Incidentally I think this was the one and only time Mickey and Minnie were depicted as being the size of regular mice.

Darling! They did it without high-end software, without expensive equipment, and they used their hearts and imaginations to craft a classic.
