Deus Ex - Liberty Island Runthrough

Wow this takes me back, i used to love this level. I used to think the view from liberty island to New york city was amazing in the background haha

I like to take the nonviolent stealth approach. There are many ways to beat this level. I chose to do it without being seen/alarms sounding, knocking 3 guys unconscious, killing zero, taking no damage, using only three charger prods (also lockpicks/multitools). Great game, open-ended methodology, seven thumbs up.

Deus Ex 1 Stays, for me, THE best game ever made, all genres and times in the video game industry united.

Why Didn't You Go In The Back Way?

That sucks that the game pauses when you enter your inventory screen. It should force you to equip weapons/activate augs in real time.

I didn't have such a hard time with the first level. I did the training level first and pretty much did a lot of killing at first. Only a few NSF made it w/o dying from my hands. Fifth time around, only 4 people died from my hands. Next time, I'm going for only killing the goons.

Someone help me with something, inside the commvan, if you listen carefully to the computer sound; is it saying; 'Billy Connelly said OooohNoYo Tickety Boo' ??

Did you ever run from paul when you were first supposed to meet him? If you judge it nicely you can lure him to the other side of the island, he'll then take out anyone who shoots at him on his way back.
