Atualy the Asians (china in perticular) did considerably more to development of many luxuries, amoung other things e.g. the wheel, gunpowder, medicine etc Developments and inventions have nothing to do with race, but wealth and education. If a nation is wealthy and productive it's citizens can indulge in education, e.g. the rennesance(sp), Egypt, the Chinese Empires etc. when Africans are living in a hand to mouth existance, with not that much wealth, when they have less time to indulge

First off, China only produces what others have designed. Also, events such as the Renaissance occurred after an epoch of extreme poverty and ignorance (i.e. the Dark Ages).
