bruce lee= legendary

Classic scene. Crazy how Lee could throw a full-force right hook much faster than most athletes could throw a jab! In his screen test for The Green Hornet show, he demonstrates some basic striking and I think his entire right arm's movement (while throwing a hook) is only captured in one or two frames of the 24 in a second. Phenomenal athlete, actor philosopher.

somewho some random white guy director copying this scene is given tremendous credit in his film kill bill

People often believe it's Bruce Lee playing Kato, but it's actually Hung Luong, an L.A. restaraunteur who was also a martial arts expert. He knew of Bruce Lee before the American public did, appropriated Bruce's name for status in the Oriental community. When the real Bruce Lee came to fame via films Lee brand jeans, he sued Luong for infringement. Luong also gained notoriety when it was revealed he'd been the gay lover of Green Hornet actor Van Williams during filming of the tv series.
